Scraps of fabric from many different eras were taken. Some were cut and applied as they were, others dyed with natural indigo, all from repurposed places. They were then stitched with sashiko threads.

This hanging mixed-media textile wall art was created at my studio in 2022. I love working with the color blue and wanted to play with lightweight textiles for a feeling of whimsy and elements that blended Southwest and Midwest.
